We have blocked 25 single rooms and 15 double rooms.

Travel Information

The meeting will take place on May 14th and 15th in the the Berlin-Brandenburg Academy of Sciences and Humanities (BBAW), Jägerstrasse 22/23, 10117 Berlin.

Getting to BBAW

The closest subway station is Hausvogteiplatz (U2) and Französische Straße (U6). The closest bus stops are Jerusalemer Straße (bus M48).

• Arrival at Berlin Hauptbahnhof (main station): take the S-Bahn (S3, S5, S7, S75) to the next station Friedrichstraße, then take the subway U6 to Französische Str., walking distance ca. 300m. This trip is covered by a ticket 'Berlin AB'.
• Arrival at airport Tegel: take the express bus TXL to Unter den Linden/Friedrichstraße, then turn right into Friedrichstraße. Take Bus 147 from the station to the station Werderscher Markt, then you have to walk ca. 300 m. Alternatively, you can take the bus 128 from Tegel airport to the station Kurt-Schumacher-Platz and then take U6 to station Französische Str, walking distance ca. 300m. This trip is covered by a ticket 'Berlin AB'.
• Arrival at airport Schönefeld: take the bus X7 to subway station Rudow, then take U7 to station Mehringdamm. Change here for U6 to station Französische Str.. This trip is covered by a ticket 'Berlin ABC'.

The meeting will take place on May 16th in the Centre for General Linguistics (ZAS), Schützenstr. 18, 10117 Berlin.

The closest subway station is Kochstraße/Checkpoint Charlie (U6). The closest bus stops are Jerusalemer Straße (bus M48) and Charlottenstraße (M29).

Getting to BBAW from the Guest House – walking distance – slowly: ca 20 Min. Alternatively, you can take U6 from station Oranienstraße to station Französische Straße, then you have to walk ca. 300 m.

Getting to ZAS from the Hotel Allegra – walking distance – slowly: ca 30 Min. Alternatively, you can take U6 from station Friedrichstraße to station Kochstraße/ Checkpoint Charlie, then you have to walk ca. 450 m.

Getting to ZAS from the Guest House – walking distance – slowly: ca 25 Min. Alternatively, you can take U6 from station Oranienstr. to station Kochstraße/ Checkpoint Charlie, then you have to walk ca. 450 m.

Getting to ZAS from BBAW – walking distance ca 5-7 Min.

Note that the tickets are valid for all buses, trams, subways and local trains (including S-Bahn). Check the BVG or VBB website for further information.
